Mémoires de l'univers is a photographic exploration of the idea that nothing in the universe is ever truly lost. According to certain spiritual and philosophical traditions, there exists a kind of cosmic memory, an invisible space in which all thoughts, events, and emotions continue to exist as energetic imprints.

In this project, Esmeralda seeks to make these invisible traces perceptible.

Through the use of atmosphere, light, shadow, and abstraction, she explores how memories – of people, places, or moments – can become embedded in space. The images are dreamlike and layered, as if they have themselves become part of a memory that has not entirely faded.

With Mémoires de l'univers, Esmeralda aims to raise questions about what we leave behind, where memories go, and whether it is possible that something, or someone – continues to exist somewhere, even when we can no longer see it.
